Case Study: SiriusXM Media

The Challenge

SiriusXM Media serves a broad audience through satellite radio, streaming, and on-demand content. Their platform needed to highlight diverse offerings (music, sports, talk shows) and capture advertising opportunities in a compelling, streamlined way. Balancing a dynamic content library with user-friendly navigation required careful planning and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.

My role as Product Manager

While coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources in my producer capacity, I simultaneously filled the product manager role by:

• Synthesizing business objectives, stakeholder feedback, and user insights into actionable features

• Prioritizing the product roadmap to ensure that content, ad placement strategies, and core functionalities aligned with SiriusXM Media’s goals

• Facilitating data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics and user research to guide iterative site improvements

Planning and execution

I set up sprint cycles that focused on key areas—from ad inventory integration to streamlined user flows for content discovery. Frequent stakeholder reviews helped keep strategic goals at the forefront, ensuring that every development milestone served SiriusXM Media’s broader brand and revenue objectives. By proactively testing prototypes and analyzing metrics, we optimized the site’s structure to suit both advertisers and end users.
